Public Affairs in Motorcycling

Public Affairs means the rights of motorcyclists as citizens and consumers.
The FIM Public Affairs Commission (CAP) deals with the safety of riders on the road, and the quality and safety of products used in motorcycling. It advises FIM administration particularly in relation to international law which increasingly affects motorcycling.

It also supports the Continental Unions including FIM Oceania with public affairs within their regions and can assist in dealing with national governments and agencies. It plays a major role in the promotion of rider training.

Today there is an increased overlap between the pressures on motorcycling generally and the interests of our sport so this work assists all the FIM member federations.
