Motorcycling Australia

Motorcycling Australia (MA) is affiliated to the FIM and represents the sport of Motorcycling in Australia.MA operates within the framework of local, State and Commonwealth Government legislation and regulations and is affiliated with the international governing body,

MA is a Federation with seven voting members, comprising from all States and Territories. MA’s National Council is made up of one delegate from each State Controlling Body (SCB), usually the SCB President. The Council elects 4 Directors to the MA Board which in turn appoints 2 Independent Directors.

MA has a full-time National Office in Melbourne, and most of the SCBs around Australia will also have a full-time office in their capital city. 
Motorcycling Australia is a member federation of FIM Oceania.

Motorcycling New Zealand

Motorcycling New Zealand is affiliated to the world governing body for motorcycle sport FIM International.
MNZ represents the sport of Motorcycling Sport in New Zealand.

MNZ is a member of the FIM Oceania continental union.

MNZ operates within a governance model with a voting board of seven elected members voted by its members for a term of two years.
MNZ is operates under the umbrella of Sports NZ, and New Zealand Government legislation and regulations.

MNZ has a full time staff based in Huntly New Zealand.
The structure for each of the sporting codes is overseen by a dedicated volunteer sporting commissioners.

 

Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM)

Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (International Motorcycling Federation). was founded on December 21, 1904, in the rooms of the restaurant Ledoyen in Paris, under the name of Fédération Internationale des Clubs Motocyclistes. 

The Headquarters are located at 11, route Suisse 1295 Mies – Switzerland (since December 1994). 

The FIM Structure The Board of Directors is composed of thirteen members President, Deputy President: Vice-President:Four Members of the Board and Six Presidents of Continental Unions.
The FIM oversees the regulation and governance of Motorcycling sport at FIM World Championship level.
The FIM is also engaged in non-sporting activities – tourism, gatherings and leisure, public affairs, or activities linked with sport, such as women in motorcycling; technical, medical and judicial aspects. Last but not least, environment is linked to both sporting and non-sporting domains.
